Global Perception – Where’s your focus?

It’s an interesting time, especially in the western world with what can seem like much political instability and drama. The old systems are no longer working so they are breaking down.

This is a good thing as they need to break down to create a new way. It’s such an exciting time to be alive and to be part of it all. It is important though that we keep ourselves operating as best we can. Essentially by focusing on what we want and not buying into the negative/fear based rhetoric.

I personally do not watch the news or current affairs programs or read the papers. I know that if I need to know something, it will come to me, someone will advise me or I will see a link on social media, or I will seek it out myself.

The more you buy into any negativity the more it will bring you down.

Interestingly I was at an event last night where one of our large banking economists was speaking and the facts he presented about the economy were actually quite positive. He showed us positive headlines, but said you won’t see this in the media. (Unfortunately under this old operating paradigm good news doesn’t seem to sell papers.)

Focus on what you want, focus on being the best you can be, and by doing so, only the best can eventually be shown to you.

Now sometimes this can be tricky, so working with a coach, or being part of a likeminded group can really help you see what you want and keep aligned to that.
